Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with Araisy Limited trading as Printlits (“Printlits”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
We want your Printlits to reach you safely and as quickly as reasonably possible. This policy explains our processing times, estimated delivery timeframes, tracking and what happens if there is a problem with delivery.
1. Order Processing
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding New Zealand public holidays.
Processing time is the time required for us to prepare, pack and dispatch your order. It is separate from the courier delivery timeframe.
Processing may occasionally take longer during:
-
major promotional events;
-
new product launches;
-
unusually high order volumes;
-
Christmas and other peak periods; or
-
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a product has a different processing timeframe, such as a pre-order or special-release item, this will be stated on the relevant product page.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information where applicable.
2. New Zealand Shipping
We currently accept orders for delivery throughout New Zealand.
Our estimated courier delivery timeframes after dispatch are:
North Island: 1–3 business days
South Island: 2–4 business days
Rural addresses: Please allow approximately 1–2 additional business days.
These are estimated courier transit times and are separate from our 1–3 business day order-processing period.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
Some destinations, including remote and rural locations, may take longer.
3. Australian Shipping
Australian shipping is not currently available.
We intend to introduce delivery to Australia in the future.
When Australia becomes available as a delivery destination at checkout, the following Australian shipping terms will apply.
Australian Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery to Australia will generally be approximately:
5–10 business days after dispatch
This is an estimate only.
Australian deliveries may take longer because of:
-
the destination within Australia;
-
remote or regional delivery;
-
customs or border processing;
-
carrier delays;
-
severe weather;
-
peak shipping periods; or
-
other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
The delivery options and charges displayed at checkout at the time an Australian order is placed will apply to that order.
Australian Taxes, Duties and Import Charges
Where we are required to collect applicable Australian taxes at checkout, these will be dealt with in accordance with the tax requirements applying at the time of purchase.
International shipments may also be subject to customs, import, clearance or other government charges.
Where a charge is not collected by Printlits at checkout, it may be payable separately by the recipient before or after delivery.
Any applicable charges will depend on Australian law and border requirements in force at the time the order is imported.
Printlits does not control charges imposed directly by customs, government authorities or other border agencies.
Australian Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any mandatory rights or remedies available to Australian customers under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on factors such as:
-
delivery destination;
-
parcel size;
-
parcel weight;
-
the products in your order; and
-
the available delivery service.
The shipping charge displayed and accepted at checkout will apply to your order unless there has been an obvious technical or pricing error.
5. Tracking
We use tracked delivery services wherever tracking is available for the selected service.
Once your order has been dispatched, your tracking details will normally be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
Please allow some time after receiving your dispatch confirmation for the courier's tracking system to register its first scan.
Tracking events and estimated delivery dates shown by a courier are provided by that courier and may change as the parcel moves through its network.
6. Delivery Timeframes
Any delivery timeframe stated by Printlits is an estimate unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed delivery date.
Delivery can occasionally be delayed because of events such as:
-
severe weather;
-
natural disasters;
-
courier network disruption;
-
unusually high parcel volumes;
-
road closures;
-
transport disruption;
-
public holidays;
-
customs or border processing;
-
industrial action; or
-
other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to assist with investigating the shipment where necessary.
Nothing in this section removes any delivery rights you have under applicable consumer law.
7. Our Responsibility for Delivery
When Printlits arranges delivery of your order, we remain responsible for meeting our obligations to you under applicable consumer law.
We do not consider a delivery issue to automatically become “the courier's responsibility” simply because the parcel has left our premises.
If your parcel is:
-
significantly delayed;
-
lost in transit;
-
delivered to the wrong location because of a carrier error; or
-
damaged during delivery,
please contact us and we will investigate the issue with the relevant carrier.
Where required by applicable consumer law, we will provide an appropriate remedy.
8. Delivery Addresses
Please carefully check your delivery address before completing checkout.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
This includes checking:
-
street number and street name;
-
unit or apartment number;
-
suburb;
-
city;
-
postcode;
-
rural delivery information where applicable; and
-
country.
If you realise that your address is incorrect, contact us at Orders@printlits.co.nz as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to update the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered the courier network.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
If a parcel cannot be delivered or is returned to us solely because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, we may require payment of the reasonable additional shipping cost before sending the order again.
If the delivery problem was caused by an error by Printlits or the courier rather than information supplied by the customer, we will not charge the customer for correcting that delivery.
10. Returned-to-Sender and Unclaimed Parcels
A parcel may be returned to us where, for example:
-
the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;
-
a delivery cannot be completed;
-
the parcel is not collected from a collection point within the required timeframe; or
-
the carrier is unable to obtain information required to complete delivery.
If an order is returned to us, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
Where the return occurred because of circumstances within the customer's control, reasonable additional shipping charges may apply if the customer asks us to resend the order.
Where the return occurred because of an error by Printlits or our delivery provider, we will arrange an appropriate solution without charging the customer additional shipping.
11. Safe Places and Delivery Instructions
Where the selected courier service allows delivery instructions or authority to leave a parcel, customers should choose a location that is reasonably safe, secure and protected from weather.
If you expressly instruct a courier to leave your parcel in a particular place, the courier may complete delivery in accordance with that instruction.
Any rights that cannot legally be excluded continue to apply.
12. Lost or Missing Parcels
If tracking indicates that your parcel has not moved for an unusual period, has been delivered somewhere you cannot locate, or appears to have been lost, please contact:
Please provide your order number so we can investigate the shipment.
We may need to contact the courier and allow them a reasonable period to complete their investigation.
Where an order is confirmed lost, or where applicable consumer law otherwise requires a remedy, we will arrange an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement or refund.
13. Damaged Deliveries
Please check your order as soon as reasonably possible after it arrives.
If an item or parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 5 days of delivery, at:
Where possible, please provide:
-
your order number;
-
photographs of the damaged product;
-
photographs of the external packaging;
-
photographs of any damaged internal packaging; and
-
a brief description of what has happened.
Keeping the packaging until we have assessed the issue may help us investigate the damage with the courier.
The 5-day notification period helps us investigate courier damage promptly. It does not limit or replace any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
14. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong product or an item is missing from your order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please include your order number and details of the issue.
If we have made an error while fulfilling your order, we will arrange the appropriate correction at no additional shipping cost to you.
15. Changing an Order After Purchase
If you need to change your delivery address or other order information after placing an order, please contact us immediately.
We will do our best to help, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been packed, dispatched or transferred to the courier.
If the parcel has already been dispatched, additional charges imposed by the carrier for redirection or redelivery may apply where the change was requested by the customer.
16. Peak Periods
Courier networks can experience significant increases in parcel volumes around periods such as:
-
Christmas;
-
Black Friday;
-
major sales events;
-
public holidays; and
-
other nationally significant events.
We recommend placing time-sensitive orders early during these periods.
We will continue to process orders as quickly as reasonably possible, but estimated processing and delivery times may be longer than usual.
17. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy limits, excludes or replaces rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For New Zealand customers, this includes applicable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
Where Printlits offers products directly to customers in Australia in the future, applicable mandatory protections under the Australian Consumer Law will also apply.
Our shipping estimates and internal processes do not override those statutory rights.
